Surviving Cruelty and Wickedness is a true account of her life journey. Throughout her life, she faced suffering, including cultural persecutions and abuse in her marriage. Despite these hardships, she emerged stronger, refined by her experiences.

Agnes was born in a rural area of Orinocco in Bushbuckridge in Mpumalanga. She is a retired teacher and she holds a Senior Primary Teachers Diploma, BA degree, Bed Honours and ACE in School Leadership.
